In 2007 the Isle of Man launched an aircraft register to provide a customer-focused service for the registration of high quality private and corporate jets and turbine-engine helicopters. The Isle of Man now provides the first dedicated corporate aircraft register service in a European time zone, and has complimented this with the establishment of an aircraft mortgage register, identical to that which exists under UK legislation.
