The Corporate and Trust Services Team
This team provides a wide range of administration services to companies, US-style LLCs, trusts, limited partnerships and other business organisations holding property and other investments or involved in asset and project finance on a global basis. It is a key strategy of the team to tailor its services to the specific needs of each client. Accordingly, operating procedures are established with the client on day one and Equity assigns qualified personnel to the relationship suited to the particular circumstances of the matter.
The Capital Markets and Investment Funds Team
A large number of institutional clients have established offshore structures for capital market and investment fund purposes, and Equity can provide high quality administration services to private investment funds, securitisation vehicles and public issuers of bonds, shares and other financial investments, both listed and unlisted. Trustee services can also be provided where the relevant structure is required to be bankruptcy remote.
The AIM Team
A growing number of international companies from all sectors are looking to list on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange using the Isle of Man as the domicile of choice for the International Listing Vehicle. Working in close co-operation with such companies' AIM advisors and Cains, Equity has extensive experience in providing such companies with all relevant services both pre and post admission.
The Family Office and Private Client Team
This team provides a personal, discreet and efficient administration service to high net worth individuals requiring offshore trust and corporate structures. The members of the division are experienced in meeting the needs of such clients and are particularly aware of the response times and service levels which they demand. A senior member of the team will be appointed as relationship manager for each client. |

The Family Office is a comprehensive and prestigious service that can be offered in selected situations to wealthy families requiring an exceptionally high level of support, including financial structuring, administration, record-keeping and other family services.The team can also advise upon multi-generational succession and the ways in which wealth can be preserved for future generations. Through its relationship with Cains, legal advice can be procured to deal with succession issues on a global basis.
The Shipping and Aviation Team
In response to demand from a number of extremely well known shipping and aviation groups, Equity has established a separate team to deal with the business and affairs of the corporate and other structures utilised in ship and aircraft owning, leasing, financing and other transactions, and developed a team of individuals with extensive legal and operational experience in these areas.
Space
The Isle of Man is fast becoming recognised as a centre of excellence for the provision of specialised financial and regulatory services to the global space and satellite industry. A positive and proactive regulatory environment is a key factor in the profitability and success of any business and the Isle of Man Government and the private sector are working hard to establish the Island as an ideal location for the establishment and incorporation of space and satellite related businesses. Cains has been heavily involved in these developments and can advise and assist in respect of all aspects of the establishment of space and satellite related businesses on the Isle of Man.

This team has been created to provide administration services to a range of property related vehicles, including companies, trusts and partnerships. Members have experience in respect of the acquisition and financing of
real estate and, through Equity’s links with Cains, can procure and coordinate the provision of Isle of Man and other legal advice and assistance as necessary. |
